本會的宗旨是為推廣舞蹈動作治療在本港的發展，以及在教育、醫護及社區等界別的應用；並藉著聯繫本地及世界各地的舞蹈動作治療協會及相關專業人士，促進舞蹈動作治療的專業發展。
The Association commits to the development of Dance Movement Therapy in Hong Kong and its application in education, healthcare and community settings. Via forming alliances with Dance Movement Therapy Associations and therapists locally and worldwide, we envision to advance the profession of Dance Movement Therapy in all aspects.
